Join us in making a difference

At trivago, every product decision is validated through data, every improvement is shipped through an experiment, and every insight should be instantly accessible to everyone who needs it. As Senior Product Manager for Decision Intelligence & Experimentation, you will own the platform that makes all of that possible — trivago's A/B testing infrastructure and analytics intelligence layer, embedded at the heart of Hotel Search.

In this role, you are shaping the platform that every product manager, data scientist, and business owner at trivago depends on to do their best work. You will own the roadmap, drive adoption across the organization, and lead trivago's transformation toward an AI-augmented analytics function — with executive sponsorship and company-wide scope. trivago's caring performance culture means you will be genuinely supported to grow and challenged to lead. If you want to own the platform that makes everyone else better at their job, this is your moment. Apply now.

How you'll make an impact

  • Own the product roadmap for trivago's A/B testing infrastructure across web, mobile web, and app — turning experimentation into a company-wide, self-serve capability.
  • Raise the bar on experiment quality: build the systems that turn individual tests into compounding organizational learning through metadata, cross-experiment insights, and searchable learnings libraries.
  • Define the product vision for trivago's analytics intelligence layer — moving beyond static dashboards toward AI-assisted insight generation and proactive decision support.
  • Lead the analytics AI transformation agenda: agent-assisted data querying, intelligent anomaly detection, automated narrative generation, and intelligent signals embedded in how teams work.
  • Partner with Data Engineering and Data Science to build a governed, trustworthy data foundation that business teams can access autonomously.
  • Develop training programs and adoption playbooks to raise experimentation literacy and data fluency across the organization.
  • Create and drive the vision and roadmap for the product, align stakeholders, and facilitate product outcomes discussions with the team and senior leadership.

What you'll need to thrive

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years owning A/B testing, experimentation platforms, or analytics infrastructure in consumer-facing digital products.
  • Solid grasp of statistical foundations: significance testing, power analysis, experimental design, and causal inference
  • Demonstrated experience building platforms with dual audiences — technical users (engineers, data scientists) and self-serve business users.
  • A proven track record of driving platform adoption, beyond shipping features.
  • Strong communication skills: able to bridge statistical complexity and platform constraints with confidence at all levels of the organization.
  • A genuine learning mindset — you approach challenges with curiosity, seek out feedback, and continuously look for ways to develop and grow.
  • A performance mindset — you set ambitious goals for yourself and have the determination and resilience to follow through and achieve them.
  • An open and curious mindset toward AI tools and automation — you actively explore how AI can enhance your work and are excited to grow alongside evolving technologies.

Stand out with:

  • Experience integrating AI or LLMs into analytics or data products (agent-based querying, auto-insights, or natural language interfaces).
  • Familiarity with travel or e-commerce marketplace dynamics.
  • Experience building internal data products with governance, access control, and data quality standards.

Not ticking every box? We still want to hear from you. Apply, tell us what motivates you, and you could be a great match—now or in the future. Your application does not need to include a photo.

This is the recruitment process that you can expect for this role (subject to modifications):

  • One-way video interview
  • First call with recruiter
  • Technical interview with team
  • Interview with stakeholders
  • Final interview with Lead
