Space Systems Engineer

#### Your Tasks Overall space system means space plus ground plus launch segments. Main responsibilities - Perform analyses of space segment or overall space system functional and interface requirements - Coordinate overall space system validation and verification on system level - Internal customer for spacecraft data bases and simulators - Ensure compliance to the technical requirements Work in collaboration with Architects and Subsystem engineers - Technical system budgets (electrical power, propellant, telemetry, command, pointing, mass properties) - Define the overall space system configuration and manage the internal and external interfaces (e.g. launcher, ground, user interfaces) - Flow down of the mission requirements to subsystem level specifications - Define Verification plans - Support the generation of AIT plans and operation plans - Supervise preparation of overall space system and spacecraft tests and review of test results - Define Test Specifications for overall space system and spacecraft Tests - Responsible for maintenance of spacecraft data bases - Preparation for launch and flight phases, preparation of launcher interfaces - Contribute to the project risk management for risks of technical nature #### Your Qualifications - Degree in engineering, physics or equivalent - Professional experience in satellite projects, preferably in phases B/C/D - Good conceptual and problem-solving skills - Well-developed communication and negotiation skills - High motivation, pro-active working approach and strong sense of responsibility - Team-minded and ideally accustomed to work in internationally composed team - Fluency in both spoken and written English, German language skills are highly desirable _You are interested in this position but don’t meet all the requirements or lack experience?
