Job description

Mission Brief

As part of the CEO Office, you will work on topics that cut across functions and require a company-wide perspective. Your role combines analytical work, executive-level communication and hands-on project ownership.

Your Role in Our Space Mission:

  • Preparing Board and Executive Leadership meetings, including structuring agendas, developing presentations and decision materials, and coordinating input from senior stakeholders across the organization
  • Creating high-quality executive presentations, analyses and briefing materials for the CEO and Executive Leadership Team
  • Synthesizing complex technical, commercial and organizational topics into clear, concise and decision-ready materials
  • Supporting on strategic and operational priorities across the company
  • Taking ownership of selected cross-functional and strategic projects, from initial problem structuring and analysis through implementation
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses to support key management decisions
  • Working closely with senior leaders and functional teams to gather information, challenge assumptions and drive topics forward
  • Tracking key initiatives, decisions and commitments and ensuring effective follow-through
  • Supporting selected external engagements with shareholders, partners and other key stakeholders
  • Identifying issues that require senior management attention and helping develop pragmatic solutions
  • Contributing to the continuous development of processes and ways of working within the CEO Office

Who You Are

You are intellectually curious, highly structured and comfortable working on complex topics with limited guidance. You enjoy moving between detailed analysis and the bigger strategic picture and can communicate your conclusions clearly to senior audiences.

Qualification Checklist

  • A strong academic background in business, economics, engineering, natural sciences or a related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, for example in strategy consulting, investment banking, venture capital, a corporate strategy function, a CEO/Executive Office or a similarly demanding environment

  • Strong quantitative skills and confidence working with financial and operational data
  • The ability to distill large amounts of information into the few points that matter for a decision
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, including confidence working with senior executives
  • A high level of ownership and the ability to independently drive projects forward
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptionally high quality standards
  • Sound judgment and absolute discretion when working with confidential or sensitive information
  • The ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and spoken English; German is an advantage

What Makes You Successful in This Role

You are not looking for a role where someone hands you a clearly defined task and tells you exactly how to solve it.

A topic might start with a question from the CEO, an upcoming Board meeting or an issue that cuts across several parts of the organization. You are able to structure the problem, identify what information is needed, engage the right people and turn the result into a clear recommendation or decision document.

You are equally comfortable working through an analysis, challenging the storyline of a Board presentation and coordinating a project with senior stakeholders across the company.

You understand that materials for the CEO and Board need to be concise, accurate and decision-oriented. You care about the logic behind a presentation as much as the quality of the slides themselves.

Most importantly, you enjoy taking ownership of difficult problems and working at the center of a fast-growing technology company.
