Job description
#### Your Tasks
- Your task will be to lead a large team of experts without disciplinary function to design, manufacture and test complex spacecrafts
- You will be responsible for mechanical design, structure analysis, thermal analysis & design and propulsion analysis & design as the architect of these subsystems
- Reporting and controlling costs and schedule are an integral part of the work
- You will be in direct communication with the suppliers, the project team and the customer
- Ensure configuration through consistent use of change management
- Perform requirement flow-down to the subsystem specifications and write subsystem specification
- Manage the complexes interdisciplinary interfaces between the different subsystems, both within your domain and towards the other subsystem of the spacecraft
- Support supplier and system level reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, QAR…) in a leading role
- Support the main campaigns of the project (EVT, Launch, LEOP) in a support role
#### Your Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Several years of experience is mandatory
- Experience in system engineering is preferred
- Several years of experience in at least one of technical domains (mechanical design, structure analysis, thermal or propulsion) is mandatory
- Deep knowledge of satellite architectures is greatly beneficial for the position
- Self-managed, pro-active, solution oriented
- Ability to take decisions, solution oriented, pragmatic
- Ability to team leadership as well as work in a team
- Working level proficiency in written and spoken English, other language skills advantageous
