In helicopters, Airbus provides the most efficient civil and military rotorcraft solutions and services worldwide. #### Job description In order to support the **DMU Services & Capabilities department**, **Airbus** is looking for an **IT Technology & Operations Specialist - Digital Mockups (DMU) (d/f/m)** You will join our team developing 3D technologies that create and distribute the Aircraft Digital Mock-Up (DMU) across the Airbus Civil Aircraft Extended Enterprise. The DMU product serves as the foundation for aircraft design, manufacturing, assembly, and customer services, spanning from detailed 3D design to Virtual/Augmented Reality simulations. In this role, you will be actively involved in the design and architecture of DMU solutions to expose the Single Source of 3D Truth in real-time across the company. This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks. **Your location** You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy. **Your benefits** - Attractive salary and special payments - 30 days paid vacation and extra days-off for special occasions - Excellent upskilling opportunities and great international, group wide development prospects - Special benefits: employer-funded pension, employee stock options, discounted car leasing, special conditions for insurances, transportation subsidy, employee benefits at cooperating companies - On-site-facilities: Kindergarten close to the site, medical officer for check-ups and other health-related services, canteen and cafeteria - Compatibility of family & work (job sharing, part-time models, flexible working hours, individual timeout) - Working in a diverse environment, with more than 140 nationalities, where every voice is heard **Your tasks and responsibilities** - Manage existing DMU & 3D Viewers Solutions and pave the way to new target technologies. - Ensure the provisioning of new software packages, upgrades, and infrastructure maintenance in line with OLA/SLAs. - Provide services and perform ITIL-based support processes according to customer requirements. - Monitor, support, and train both insourced and outsourced teams. - Support IT architects with expert knowledge on extended enterprise partner collaboration, data exchange, and data conversion. - Contribute to project activities within the scope of requirements definition and functional specifications. - Communicate improvements, updates, and product obsolescence directly to the IT Product Manager. **Desired skills and qualifications** - Master’s degree in IT (ideally in Computer Science) or a related discipline. - Extensive programming experience in multiple languages (e.g., Python, Java, Visual Basic, C/C++, Shell Scripting, Windows Batch, SQL). - Deep IT architectural knowledge of databases, file systems, access management, and diverse operating systems (Windows, Linux, SUNOS, HPUX). - Solid understanding of load-sharing systems for distributed computing and major ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management). - Strong communication and active listening skills with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively. - Negotiation level proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
